The U.S. dollar and Singapore dollar are constantly appreciating, while the Malaysian ringgit is going the other way around. 

During an interview with China Press, Asia Pacific Investment Bank’s Investment Banking Division I President cum Assistant to CEO, Dr. Lai Heow Gran, forecasted that the ringgit will continue to depreciate and remain unstable throughout the year.

He believes that the ringgit, which lacks incentives, is more difficult to attract foreign investments, and the road to recovery will not be easy.
